MGCCC announces Spring 2024 Commencement Ceremonies
Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College announced its upcoming Spring 2024 Commencement Ceremony, scheduled to take place on Thursday, May 9, at 2:30 p.m.
The ceremony will be held at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum in Biloxi, with nearly 1,200 graduating students participating in the ceremony.
The Spring Commencement Ceremony marks a significant milestone for MGCCC, with over 2,400 degrees and certificates set to be conferred upon deserving graduates. This occasion symbolizes the culmination of dedication, perseverance, and hard work demonstrated by each member of the graduating class.
Prior to the commencement ceremony, the School of Nursing and Health Professions will host its Pinning and Recognition Ceremony at the coliseum, beginning at 9 a.m. This event will celebrate the accomplishments of nearly 300 students from various programs including associate degree nursing, emergency medical sciences (EMT), practical nursing, and more.
Additionally, MGCCC will hold an Adult Education Graduation Ceremony on Wednesday, May 8, at 7 p.m. This ceremony will honor 115 students who have completed their high school equivalency this year and who are participating, with a total of 133 individuals recognized for their academic achievements during the summer, fall, and spring semesters.
