As the cost of living crisis continues, many families are on the hunt for cheap and cheerful days out with the family that doesn't break the bank. And with some exciting new movies coming out, many people may want to go to the cinema, but can't often afford the luxury.
But there's one cinema in Essex right on a seafront that offers tickets that costs just £6. Movie Starr cinema in Canvey Island is a tiny, independent cinema right in the heart of Canvey seafront.
The family-run and independent cinema says they 'believe that enjoying a movie shouldn't break the bank' and 'provide affordable entertainment options for everyone in the community'.

The small cinema has four screens in total, as well as a small stand for snacks and drinks. Tickets at the cinema cost £6 for both an adult and child as per standard pricing for Monday to Sunday.
However, at Kids Club, it costs £3.50 for both an adult and a child. It is important to note that there is also a 50p booking fee per ticket purchased on the website.
All of the screens are air conditioned, the website states, and there is also free parking for cinema customers at the nearby car park just across the road.
