LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — Four Lancaster County citizens were presented with lifesaver awards at the Susquehanna Regional Police Commission Tuesday morning.

The awards were given for their actions in saving the lives of two men in the Susquehanna River on April 21.

According to Susquehanna Regional Men, one of the men was found clinging to a capsized, sunken boat. The other man was submerged and unconscious.

Police say the four citizens — Donald Seeger, Deborah Seeger, Kyle Rissell, and Daniel Cook — rescued the two men, performed life-sustaining CPR and brought them to shore where they were met by first responders.
