INDIANAPOLIS — A car ran into Kan-Kan Cinema and Restaurant on the near east side of Indianapolis Monday evening.
The business’ management team sent FOX59 and CBS4 photos of the car crash, which appear to show a four-door Toyota passenger car that breached the building’s windows.

Public police reporting systems indicate officers responded to 1258 Windsor St. — which is where the business is located — at approximately 5:25 p.m. on a report of a property damage crash.
In a post on X, the business’ managers noted that Kan-Kan’s restaurant and bar will be closed for the evening. Kan-Kan’s cinema is still open and operational.
It is still unclear exactly what caused the crash or how much damage Kan-Kan sustained. As of this article’s publication, no additional information on the incident had been made available.
