Dr. Pimple Popper Is Back With New Show: See Exclusive Trailer
Sandra Lee, “Dr. Pimple Popper” herself, became known to audiences through her TLC series, Dr. Pimple Popper. However, the dermatologist is set to make her return to television with a new series coming to Lifetime: Dr. Pimple Popper: Breaking Out. Since then, a trailer has come out giving fans a hint of what to expect in the upcoming series, which already promises a bit of “popping.”
After Nine Years On TLC, Dr. Pimple Popper Is Moving To Another Network
Dermatologist Sandra Lee, also known as “Dr. Pimple Popper,” is a board-certified dermatologist. She first rose to prominence by uploading videos of skin extractions on social media. Notably, Lee would offer free or discounted treatments in exchange for patients’ permission to record such materials for content.
By 2018, Lee would go on to star in her own reality series, Dr. Pimple Popper. The series, which originally ran from 2018 to 2023, saw her treat patients at a clinic in Upland, California. The series also saw a spin-off, Dr. Pimple Popper: Before the Pop, in 2020. This TLC series lasted nine seasons.
However, Lee will return to television with a new series, Dr. Pimple Popper: Breaking Out. The series will document her California clinic. In addition, she will mentor a new staff of dermatologists.

In the trailer, Lee opened things up sharing, “Hey ‘Pimple Popper’ fans, you can now find me on Lifetime. Let’s go.”

Lee continued, “I’m bringing the biggest hearts.” At one point, while speaking with a patient, Lee shared, “You’re a strong woman. I see it. You’re beautiful inside and out.”
The trailer also promises “the biggest smiles,” as well as “the biggest pops.” There also will be “some young talent to teach them how it’s done.” Some patients seen in the trailer include a man who wants an “eggplant-sized bump” removed and a girl who needs bumps behind her ears removed.
Lee herself even proclaims, “Here we go, Lifetime fam. New network. Same pops. You can’t get enough of.” The upcoming Lifetime series will premiere on Monday, April 21, 2025, at 9 PM ET. Episodes will also be available for streaming the next day.
In addition to the trailer, Lifetime’s own website also gave the following description of the series: “Dr. Sandra Lee, also known as ‘Dr. Pimple Popper,’ is the most famous dermatological surgeon in the world and an internationally beloved personality. She has dedicated her life to sharing her incredible skills with her huge audience, as she helps hundreds of suffering patients who are unable or unwilling to find treatment for their painful, oozing cysts, fatty tumors, and infinitely complex, life-affecting dermatological issues.”
“Now, Dr. Lee is ready to take her practice to the next level. The doctor has made modern additions to her main office which include an entire new wing of patient rooms, and many new staff and doctors. For the first time, Dr. Lee will also be providing intimate self-shot footage of her life outside the office.”
