Arsenal Winger Saka's Market Value Has Increased Threefold Since September 2019
Published: April 05, 2020Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka's market value has increased threefold since September 2019, allnigeriasoccer.com reports.
According to the latest valuation by Transfermarkt, the Hale End Academy product is now valued at 22 million euros, which is approximately three times the amount he was worth in September 2019.
Around six months ago, the England international was rated at seven million euros but has seen his market value skyrocket after establishing himself as a first team regular at Arsenal.
Of the players classed as defenders in the Arsenal squad, only Héctor Bellerín (€40m) and Kieran Tierney (€25m) are more valuable than Saka.
Saka is valued at the same amount as 2014 World Cup winner Mesut Ozil, an indication of the progress he has made over the course of the 2019-2020 season.
Since his professional debut against Vorskla Poltava in November 2018, he has played 33 first team matches for the Gunners, scoring three goals and weighing in with a further 10 assists.
